As part of their peak award for the Joey Section, Molly and Alice have organised a hike along Woolgoolga Beach and back.
 
The Joeys and Cubs will be meeting on the grass next to the Woolgoolga SLSC car park before walking along Woolgoolga Beach towards Safety Beach. The youth will be walking on the sand and will not be swimming. 
 
Alice and Molly have organised some small games for the youth to participate in during the walk. If there is enough interest on the day, and the tides are correct, the hike may detour up Woolgoolga Creek, otherwise we will walk onto Safety Beach before turning back and returning to the SLSC along the beach.
 
Youth need to wear their uniform shirt.
Youth are to be wearing enclosed shoes, collared shirt and a hat at all times. Youth should bring a water bottle, sunscreen and a small backpack.
 
Upon returning from the beach we will have fish and chips for lunch, provided by the group. Kids may play in the playground while waiting for pick up after lunch.
