This year we will be participating in the time-honoured tradition of the Jacaranda Floats Procession. Youth will be stationed on either the float itself, marching beside the float or in the 4WD pulling the float. There will be leaders supporting in all of these areas to ensure safety.

Youth need to wear their full scouting uniform and can bring either a hiking pack, walking stick, abseiling harness, or life jacket to mimic the fun things we do at scouts.

Youth are to be wearing enclosed shoes and bring a water bottle.

Float marshalling area: JACARANDA PARK, located on Prince Street between Hoof & Arthur Street

ALL FLOATS involving CHILDREN must marshal in JACARANDA PARK until ALL CHILDREN ARE SAFELY ON BOARD. Persons dropping off before or picking up children after the Newcastle Permanent Float Procession from these floats should enter the park via Hoof Street.
