Jeff has planned a cycle ride from Grafton to Junction Hill and back for his Adventurous Journey.

We will muster at Apollo Eleven Park (Drive to the end of Powell St) at 9:00. Please try to arrive by 8:45 so we can set off at 9:00. We will ride our bikes along the bike path to Junction Hill, before riding up the hill and along a smaller bike path to the sports oval at Junction Hill (Tony West Park - off Pine Street). Jeff has organised a map reading exercise and treasure hunt at the park. We will have some snacks and then head back to Grafton, via the Brewhouse Cafe.

The ride is mostly along a dedicated bike path which is wide and smooth. At Junction hill, riders will need to go up a steep hill along the road. Some riders may need to get off their bikes and walk for this section. We will be crossing some roads, including Summerland Way at Junction Hill. Leaders will position themselves throughout the group to ensure these crossing are safe.

All participants will need a working bike, helmet and appropriate clothing and shoes. Participants will need to bring sufficient water. Some snacks will be provided, however riders may wish to bring their own snacks as well.

On the return journey we will be stopping at the Brewhouse Cafe on North Street. Riders may wish to bring some money to buy a milkshake or similiar.
