Hi Everyone

Yep, the beginning of ANZAC DAY starts with our usual attendance at the main service in town at Grafton, starting at Market Square from 9:30 form up to march in Pound Street (usually behind the SES guys and gals, and in front of the schools). 

The Grafton RSL Sub-Branch have also requested their usual for some flag bearers please, this is usually around 4 - 5 youth members, flags and banners will be on a table in Market Square for us to pick up. They also usually have programs and small flags to pass out to the public as well. 

You will need to wear your full scouting uniform for this event, our groups uniform is - Hat, Scarf, section shirt, DARK BLUE OR NAVY Cargo style/School Shorts (not to short please). socks and black shoes/runners. Don't forget to bring along a drink bottle as it does tend to get hot. We will also require youth to carry our own section flags as well, so 4 please. We will choose the youth on the day from each section to go and lay the wreath at the Cenotaph as well. 

If anyone is marching with their Schools, please let us know as this does also count towards your Their Service, Our Heritage Badge work as well.
